Library users can now download books from OverDrive to Kindles.
This announcement from Overdrive came on September 21 after Amazon.com and OverDrive collaborated to accommodate downloads to Kindle devices. Library patrons can borrow Kindle books from Southern Illinois Libraries on the Go and, with the click of a button, have them delivered to a Kindle device or free reading app. A Kindle reading app is available for pcs, macs, smartphones, and ipads.
